Why is it necessary to clean the grinding discs after the floor grinder has completed curing and repair work?

When performing floor grinding during construction, it’s essential to thoroughly clean the worn-out grinding discs after each pass. This prevents sand and grit trapped inside the discs from causing irreparable scratches on the floor surface during subsequent work—especially critical during the curing process. After repairing the floor, be sure to clean the grinding discs promptly. As a dust-free construction technique specifically designed for curing floor applications, if you’re using the “grinding method” to repair the floor by applying patching agents or mortar, remember that the discs will inevitably pick up these materials during the process. If not cleaned immediately, these residues can harden over time, making them much harder to remove later. Moreover, failing to address this issue could lead to damage on the floor—damage that might be impossible to repair or could require an extensive and time-consuming restoration process, adding unnecessary stress to your project. Therefore, after using the floor grinder for curing repairs—or particularly for grinding repairs—always take a moment to inspect and clean the metal grinding discs. How do you use a floor grinding machine?

The performance of floor grinding machines includes factors such as grinding width, head operation mode, rotational speed, specific pressure exerted by the grinding head, and water flow control. Construction standards are categorized into three key aspects: flatness, clarity, and glossiness. 1. **Grinding Area of Floor Grinding Machines**: Generally speaking, the larger the machine's grinding area, the higher the resulting surface flatness. However, increasing the grinding range also leads to a decrease in efficiency when it comes to leveling out height differences across the floor. 2. **Head Operation Mode of Floor Grinding Machines**: The more complex the grinding head's operating mechanism, the greater the cutting force and the higher the work efficiency, ultimately enhancing the floor's clarity. For instance, a bidirectional 12-head floor grinder delivers even stronger cutting power. 3. **Rotational Speed of Floor Grinding Machines**: Typically, the higher the rotational speed of the grinding head, the greater the cutting force. Yet, excessively high speeds can reduce the effectiveness of abrasive materials in removing material from the floor surface. Moreover, when head pressure is relatively low, it may compromise the machine's operational stability and negatively impact construction quality. 4. **Specific Pressure of the Grinding Head**: The pressure applied by the grinding head—directly influenced by the machine's weight—affects both efficiency and leveling accuracy. On softer surfaces, if the head pressure is too high, the cutting force becomes excessive, causing the machine to lose its ability to move smoothly and compromising the overall flatness of the floor. 5. **Water Flow Control**: Floor grinding is commonly performed either wet or dry, depending on the type of surface being treated. Water serves critical functions such as lubrication, chip removal, and cooling. For hard granite floors, precise control of water flow is essential as the grinding process progresses. Additionally, the temperature generated during floor grinding directly influences the final gloss level of the finished surface. By understanding the performance characteristics of floor grinding machines, you'll be better equipped to select a model that best meets your specific needs. How can we prevent accidental environmental damage caused by epoxy flooring machinery operations?

During the mechanical construction of epoxy flooring, it is crucial to pay close attention to environmental protection. Ensuring good sanitation at the construction site—including preventing dust, noise, and water pollution—can significantly improve the working environment, safeguarding the health of employees. Only when workers feel physically well can they remain fully engaged in construction activities, which ultimately benefits the epoxy flooring company as well. People today are highly aware of self-protection, yet issues such as urban floor coating projects disturbing nearby residents have become particularly prominent. In some cases, construction sites frequently clash with surrounding communities, disrupting both construction progress and daily life. In more severe instances, this could even lead to project shutdowns for remediation. However, by proactively implementing preventive measures in a timely manner, these external disruptions can be effectively avoided, ensuring that construction proceeds smoothly. Epoxy flooring projects must also strengthen inspection and monitoring efforts. Key areas of focus include checking for potential pollutants like dust and noise at the construction site, as well as verifying whether equipment is operating properly. If any problems are identified, they should be promptly reported to the relevant supervisor for immediate action. Every construction project must have a designated leader—the project manager—who serves as the head of the site’s self-monitoring system for environmental protection. Moreover, the project manager’s performance in environmental stewardship will be a critical factor in evaluating their overall effectiveness.
