Floor Grinding Machine Primarily used for floor grinding applications, it features convenient and efficient operation. Today, the market offers an increasing variety of floor grinders, but their quality also ranges widely. So, how should we assess whether a floor grinder is good or not? Consider the following aspects.
1. The control of the floor grinding machine governs the mechanical operation process and reduces operator fatigue.
2. The reliability of a floor grinding machine refers to its failure rate and the stability of its operation.
3. The working efficiency of a floor grinding machine directly affects a company’s profitability and construction costs.
4. The construction results of the floor grinding machine reflect the flatness, glossiness, and clarity achieved after the mechanical grinding process.
Important note: Professional personnel must be present nearby to provide guidance when operating the floor grinder.
Floor grinding machines are used for grinding surfaces on the ground—these machines can typically be seen on campus lawns and fields. But how exactly do these floor grinders work to achieve their intended grinding purpose? Let’s now learn about the operational procedures of a floor grinding machine.
The operating procedure for the floor grinding machine
1. Select the appropriate grinding wheel based on the construction process, and install it properly.
2. Step on the extended lever with either your left or right foot—just one person can easily pry up the 270kg floor grinder and gently lower it back down into place.
3. Adjust the operating handle to the appropriate position.
4. Add an appropriate amount of clean water to the tank; if using dry grinding, no water is needed—simply connect it with a dust-collection device—and secure the protective cover.
5. Before turning on the machine, ensure it is in the "off" position, properly connect the power cord by inserting the plug into the unit's socket, and once powered on, the red indicator light should illuminate—or the inverter display panel should light up.
6. Turn on the water valve and release a moderate amount of water. After about 5 seconds, start the floor grinder (use the forward/reverse switch). Note that when starting up, the speed control knob should be set to at least 900 RPM; once running, you can adjust the speed as needed. Then, perform grinding in a " # " pattern—moving up, down, left, and right—to ensure evenness across the entire surface and prevent any unwanted light reflections. Continuously inspect the area while grinding, making adjustments as necessary, until the floor is completely leveled.
7. When wet-milling, use a water vacuum to remove wastewater; when dry-milling, employ a dust collector to thoroughly clean floor dust. Also, check the floor surface for evenness.
8. Replace the floor grinding pads, and perform grinding in a " # " pattern across the entire surface (up, down, left, and right). Ensure that each pass overlaps the previous one by about 20 cm along the edges—do not skip or change the grit size of the pads during the process.
