On January 18, it was learned from China Railway Science and Industry Group, a central enterprise in Hubei, that the world's first pile-beam integrated bridge erecting machine "Gonggong No." was successfully developed, and this equipment will realize the complete assembly construction of bridge construction.
The "Gonggong" bridge erecting machine is a "big guy" with a length of 92 meters, a weight of 575 tons, an effective span of 48 meters, and a cantilever heavy-duty operation of 16 meters. It adopts a double-truss main beam structure and has 5 legs, 3 cranes and 1 piling device. It can walk freely in areas such as tidal flats and shallow water areas, and can independently complete drilling, hoisting pier bodies and beam bodies.
Xie Jiwei, chief engineer of the Design Institute of China Railway Science and Technology Group, said that according to the traditional method, road and bridge construction has four processes: drilling, pile foundation, assembling piers and girder erection, which need to be completed by relay of drilling rig, hoisting equipment and bridge erection equipment. The "Gonggong No." bridge erecting machine realizes the "three-in-one", which can complete all construction operations in an integrated manner without the need for other equipment to assist in construction.
According to reports, the bridge erecting machine can realize "air" operation in areas such as tidal flats, shallow water areas and urban prosperous areas, without laying construction roads or trestles separately, which can not only reduce land acquisition and demolition, but also protect the ecological environment of the construction area. In addition, the construction of single-span bridges has been shortened from 10 days to 3 days, which will greatly improve construction efficiency and save construction costs.
The bridge erecting machine has applied for 8 national patents and will be used for the construction of the Shenzhen-Shantou West Expressway reconstruction and expansion project. The project is the expressway reconstruction and expansion project with the largest investment scale and the longest mileage in Guangdong. After it is completed and opened to traffic, it will promote the economic development and industrial upgrading of the Shenzhen-Shantou Special Cooperation Zone and the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.
