Solid material quality and the compressive strength of colored permeable pavement are 25 kilograms per bag.

The surface sealant is a transparent matte liquid, formulated from imported resin copolymers, and applied in a single coat.
Complete the colored permeable pavement surface by applying a transparent film to prevent automotive oil stains from seeping in.


III. Performance of Colored Permeable Pavement Materials
After testing by the Guangdong Provincial Electric Power Engineering Quality Supervision and Civil Construction Testing Station, the results are as follows:
1) The 28-day measured compressive strength of colored permeable pavement is 31.4 MPa.
2) The 28-day measured flexural strength of the colored permeable pavement was 4.5 MPa.
3) The permeability coefficient of the colored permeable pavement is 300 liters/hour per square meter.
IV. Grassroots Requirements
(1) According to design specifications, the colored permeable concrete pavement is constructed directly on the existing structural layer, ensuring proper permeability.
Water concrete bonds seamlessly with the substrate, preventing hollowing between the permeable concrete and the base layer.
(2) The compressive strength grade of the concrete structural layer shall not be lower than C20; the surface must be rough, clean, and thoroughly moistened.
The thickness shall not be less than 100 mm.
(3) When the base layer is a concrete structure, interface treatment should be performed before laying the permeable concrete surface layer.
(4) Drainage should be considered in the design of the subgrade structure, and permeable drainage pipes should be used for drainage. The drainage pipes must align with the road.
The municipal drainage system in the design is interconnected.

Permeable Concrete Requirements
Requirements for the Subbase of Permeable Concrete Pavement
1. Thickness of permeable concrete pavement: As mentioned above, due to the strength characteristics of colored permeable concrete, it is mostly used for sidewalks, plazas, and parking lots.

The thickness of permeable concrete shall not be less than 8 cm; for ground surfaces subject to heavy loads, such as parking lots and plazas, the thickness of permeable concrete must be at least 10 cm.
2. To ensure that the pavement structure layers have sufficient overall strength and permeability, a permeable base course and a well-draining, moisture-retentive subbase layer are required beneath the surface layer.
Layer requirements: On the compacted native soil layer, the selected base materials, in addition to possessing adequate strength, must also exhibit good permeability. Recommended options include graded gravel or graded aggregate.
Gravel and similar materials. When using graded gravel, the maximum particle size should be less than 0.7 times the thickness of the base course, and must not exceed 50 mm. The subbase layer typically uses natural gravel.
Stone with a particle size smaller than 10mm, commonly known as "melon seed chips," should be spread in layers 15cm to 30cm thick, ensuring even and smooth placement.
Four, Construction of Colored Permeable Concrete
Generally, 8 cm is used as the standard benchmark thickness for sidewalks, with different thicknesses designed based on their specific functions.

V. Construction Preparation
1. The construction unit shall, based on the design documents and construction conditions, determine the construction plan and prepare the construction organization design.
2. Construction personnel must survey the construction site, verify the location and elevation of underground concealed facilities, and confirm the construction plan.

3. Before construction begins, ensure that water and electricity supply, access roads, mixing and storage areas, as well as site shelters, warehouses, and fire safety measures are all addressed.
Facilities such as these. The construction site should be equipped with a material storage area that is protected from rain and moisture, and materials must be stacked separately according to their designated labels.
When stacking, loading, unloading, and handling, do not toss items randomly.
4. The construction site must establish sound quality, safety, and environmental management systems, with dedicated personnel responsible for implementing dynamic management.
5. The cement used for the permeable base course must undergo re-inspection for strength and safety according to relevant regulations; the use of substandard materials is strictly prohibited.
Cement that fails the qualitative assessment must not be mixed with cement of different types during construction.
6. Permeable concrete must be mixed using an on-site mixer, and it should also be equipped with all the necessary auxiliary equipment required for construction.

7. During grassroots construction, promptly lay the drainage pipes as required.
