GM80P has four filtration systems:
First layer of filter: paper bag
The Nilfisk vacuum cleaner paper bag is a double-layer paper bag made of two materials. The inner lining can attract dust, and when the air passes through the outer fiber layer, the paper bag can easily collect and handle visual dust.
Second layer filter: main filter cotton cloth
The main filter screen of the extra large cotton wool treated by static electricity can filter out 99.5% of the dust with a size of 4 μm. The oversized design provides better surface filtering. Another kind of Gore-Tex filter cotton made of Dralon material can resist acid (filter up to 99.995% of dust larger than 0.33 μm).
Third layer of filtration: motor protection sleeve *
The standard motor protection cover is made of non-woven material, made of wool and synthetic fibers, and can filter out 99.5% of dust in the size of 2 μm. This fine filter is suitable for use at the bottom of the motor. In addition to protecting the motor, it can also filter out dust the size of bacteria and reduce the contamination of HEPA or ULPA and prolong its life.
Fourth level filtration: HEPA or ULPA filter *
HEPA (High Efficiency Filter) is the last layer of filtration. It is made of glass fiber paper. It can filter out up to 99.97 percent of 0.3 μm dust, which is 1/300 the diameter of a human hair. Each filter is tested by DOP (US Army Headquarters) and used to the appropriate specifications. HEPA filters can collect toxic and dangerous dust. Suitable for use in finer filtration. ULPA (Ultra High Efficiency Filter) is also made of glass fiber paper, but its material is more tightly arranged. It can filter out 99.9995 percent of the dust, including dust of 0.12 μm in size, which is 1/960 the diameter of a human hair. ULPA filters are more suitable than HEPA filters for critical pollution control applications.
